Araucaria Norfolk Island Pine Manley Seeds

Inc. GST + FREE Shipping

Araucaria Norfolk Is Pine Manley, is a very large growing, highly ornamental tree most commonly grown in extremely long-term and high value plantings, often in coastal towns, across south-eastern Australia. As its name suggests, this variety is native to Norfolk Island, a small island in the Pacific Ocean, however in taxonomic terms, Araucaria Norfolk Is Pine Manley is not a true pine, but rather a member of the conifer family, with its scientific name Araucaria Excelsa. The natural shape of this Cypress is the classic Christmas Tree shape, and the plant generally maintains its shape as it matures. Araucaria Norfolk Is Pine Manley is generally easy to grow and does not require any maintenance, will tolerate soils with generally poor nutrition and is resistant to most common garden pests and diseases.

Perfect seeds - beginner gardener :-)

My beautiful 5 seeds arrived quickly, safely wrapped in bubble wrap. They looked fresh and healthy!
I couldn't wait to plant them even though the weather here was still too cold. And the instructions specifically indicated against this.
Then I watered them too eagerly even though there was plenty of moisture on the inside of the cling wrap and unfortunately they got moldy (due to my own poor research). The instructions on the packet did say: "don't let them get too wet".
But I am about to purchase another 5 seeds and this time I know what to do!
I reached out to "The Climbing Fig" to share my experience and received very helpful advice from Nathan and confirmation on what I suspected was my error. Thank you :-)
