Carrot End of the Rainbow Mix Seeds

Carrot End of the Rainbow Mix is a custom blend of olde-world heirloom carrot varieties, which consists of all the popular varieties from yesteryear including, Atomic Red, Solar Yellow, Lunar White, Cosmic Purple and several orange cultivars, including the crisp cylindrical carrot, Scarlet Nantes.

All of the varieties in the Carrot End of the Rainbow Mix are grown for their sweet and crisp harvest, with the root vegetables typically growing 15-16cm, and the late harvests often producing carrots approaching 20cm long, in all the splendid colours, of the rainbow. Whilst each of the varieties in the Carrot End of the Rainbow Mix are established varieties cherished by keen vegetables gardeners, the actual mix has been prepared (selected and mixed) by The Climbing Fig, to ensure a long harvest of these wonderfully colourful carrots. Carrot End of the Rainbow Mix, like all carrots are often cited as the perfect health food as they are not only crunchy and tasty, but highly nutritious. Carrots are a very good source of beta-carotene, fiber, vitamin K, potassium and antioxidants. Carrot End of the Rainbow Mix is a species of Daucus carota.
