SP.OR.ECHFITL-0010
Echinocereus Fitchii Lace Cactus, is a spectacular variety of cacti native to the southern United States and Northern Mexico. This moderately rare variety typically forms small clusters of between 6 and 10 plants, in compact mounds reaching 20 - 25cm tall. The variety Fitchii, is a stunning, relatively compact growing form of Echinocereus Reichenbachii that produces the most gorgeous lace pink flowers imaginable. Given the compact growth habit, Echinocereus Fitchii Lace Cactus is highly suited to pots, rockeries and a wide range of gardens, and like all cacti is very drought tolerant, making it a favourite for pots or garden beds where established plants are expected to survive with very little water or attention. The ease at which spectacular Echinocereus Fitchii Lace Cactus can be grown to produce stunning plants, with little effort once established, has been recognised with the award of the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
