The tomato variety, Tomato Black Kuro Cherry is a modern variant (improved disease resistant form) of the highly popular black cherry tomato variety. As outlined by its name, Tomato Black Kuro Cherry produces an abundance of small (25 - 30mm round), crisp and juicy dark coloured (black) cherry tomato fruits. Like all black tomato varieties, the flavour of the Tomato Black Kuro Cherry fruit has a distinct fragrant tang, making the small fruit a popular choice for adding flavour to tossed salads and a touch of flair to others. The variety Tomato Black Kuro Cherry is one of the earliest fruiting varieties of tomato (typical harvest period is 8 - 9 weeks from germination), which is both long-lived, and a strong producer, which is sure to provide an extremely rewarding experience for any gardener. Provided Tomato Black Kuro Cherry plants have enough calcium (add lime to the soil if the base of fruit starts to turn brown and rot), the fruit is very long-lasting and can last up to 2-weeks in the kitchen fruit-bowl.
