Schefflera Dwarf Arboricola Tree Seeds (Dwarf Umbrella Tree)

Schefflera Dwarf Arboricola is a stunningly beautiful compact evergreen shrub with glossy leaves. Whilst common varieties of Schefflera can get quite sparse (leggy) after a while, Dwarf Arboricola is a compact-form, developed specifically for landscape screening purposes and for this reason naturally lends itself to being made into a hardy long-lived bonsai.

Schefflera Dwarf Arboricola is suitable as an informal screening plant (height to 1.5) or formal hedge, great as a stand alone specimen particularly in dry areas where it may be difficult to establish other plants with higher water requirements. Schefflera Dwarf Arboricola is also suitable for pots, particularly indoors as it can handle low light levels quite well (hold on to leaves, hardy evergreen) and is often a popular bonsai choice for this very reason. In areas of low light, plants of Schefflera Dwarf Arboricola may produce aerial roots, providing quite an exotic display, particularly if grown as a bonsai.

Schefflera Dwarf Arboricola is very easy to grow and does not require any maintenance, will tolerate soils with generally poor nutrition and is resistant to most common garden pests and diseases.
