HP.AQUFER-0.01
Aquasol is a fast-acting, complete and soluble, all-purpose fertiliser containing nine (9) plant nutrients which are essential for plant growth, flowering and fruiting. Aquasol may be used on a wide variety of plants from annuals, perennials, vegetables, seedlings, shrubs, orchids, african violets, houseplants and even lawns. With a balanced N:P:K plus trace elements, Aquasol's formulation can be absorbed both through the foliage and the plant's root system. The Guaranteed Analysis of Aquasol is NPK 23: 3.95: 14.
Soluble or liquid feeding is the application of nutrients dissolved in water to a growing medium around plant roots. Aquasol is a powder that is soluble in water. It is commonly applied through a fertigation system to plant roots and/or plant foliage as a foliar feed. Nutrients are absorbed both through the foliage and a plant's root system. Aquasol can be applied to potted plants, garden beds, field grown plants and even lawns.
Aquasol is packaged by The Climbing Fig into small resealable LDPE bags. Whilst Aquasol is widely available in Australia in a range of larger pack sizes, the costs associated with transport and safety can add significant costs; therefore, at The Climbing Fig, we re-package Aquasol into small resealable LDPE bags for ease of transport and use. These pack sizes are not intended to be sufficient to fertilise a large garden, but instead provide a quick and easy option for when a small amount of a fast-acting soluble fertiliser may be required, for instance during seedling propagation, urban gardening and other small scale use.

For indicative application rates, refer to the table below or the second image in the gallery
Garden Situation | Application Rate |
---|---|
Most plants | 16 grams dissolved per 10L of water |
Seedlings, orchids and ferns | 8 grams dissolved per 10L of water |
Lawns and around shrubs | 32 grams dissolved per 10L of water, applied over an area of 5 square metres |
Natives | Lower rates, generally half |
For very young seedlings and other sensitive applications (such as at transplanting), use significantly lower rates.
As a general precaution, DO NOT apply on hot days.
The application rate and frequency of application will vary according to plant type, plant size and maturity, application method and density of planting.
