Lobelia String of Pearls is an easy to grow annual groundcover that produces beautiful mounds of the flowers in the most cheerful cottage garden coloured tones (pink, purple, mauve and white), with little effort. This self-seeding variety flowers very quickly (within a month or so) is an ideal cottage plant, as it will generally grow as a quasi-perennial, by renewing itself through naturalised seedlings. The variety Lobelia String of Pearls is a traditional variety of Lobelia most often planted for its beautiful fountains of floral colour. Lobelia varieties are commonly used as a border plant in cottage gardens and can also be used in hanging baskets or at the base of trees in large pots to provide a display of potted colour.

Tiny giants

These tiny flowers have a giant impact in our garden, they dont take up much space but spread hoards of beauty. Real gems, will buy some more to put in other small spots in our garden.
