Foxglove Apricot Peaches is a modern digitalis variety of foxglove specifically bred to produce spectacularly bright and long lasting flower spikes. The flowers of this premium variety are in copper orange tones with the classic speckled throats on the inside of the tubular flowers. Foxglove Apricot Peaches is a semi-dwarf variety which means that it will grow to about 1m to the top of the flower spikes, but will not grow much larger like many of the traditional species varieties commonly grown in cottage gardens. Foxglove Apricot Peaches is a semi-hardy perennial which means provided it can be kept sheltered away from frosts during winter, it will generally come back the second year (as a biennial) in Spring and produce an even more spectacular crop of flowers through to early summer. Foxglove Apricot Peaches is one of the most popular of all the foxglove varieties as it is a very strong garden performer, flowers extremely heavily, requires very little maintenance and is very resilient towards many common pests and diseases. Like all foxglove varieties, Foxglove Apricot Peaches is poisonous and should not be planted in areas where children of animals are likely to attempt to consume any part of the plant and or its flowers.
