Gaura Symphony Bride is a modern hybrid variety of the hardy gaura species. This spectacular white flowering (baby pink buds) variety produces beautiful splashes of soft colour throughout most of the year providing a soft and elegant touch to any landscape, particularly for cottage gardens or to take edges off more harsh landscapes (walls, steps, poles). Gaura Symphony Bride is suitable for use in pots, planters, as an informal border, does well in mass-plantings and can also be used in rockery gardens for a softer touch. In recent years Gaura Symphony Bride has become one of the most popular plant varieties for use in cottage garden or landscape applications as the plant is a very hardy and compact evergreen perennial that is essentially pest and disease resistant and requires relatively low maintenance. The plant is surprisingly frost-tolerant, making it a great addition to gardens particularly in cooler environments where less tolerant plants are harder to establish.
